Why the price can differ
Developers can set App Store price tiers by storefront. Taxes, local currency pricing and Apple's regional schedules can make the China price differ from another country even for the same plan.
Before changing an Apple Account region
- Check active subscriptions, store credit, pre-orders and family sharing.
- Confirm the app or plan is actually available in the destination storefront.
- Use a valid payment method and real billing information accepted in that country or region.
Address format
China forms may require a different combination of province, region, city and postal-code fields. The tool below helps test that structure, but it does not verify a real location.
