Start with the exact plan
Many apps sell several products under similar names: monthly, yearly, credit packs, introductory offers and higher usage tiers. Comparing a monthly plan in one country with a yearly plan in another produces a misleading result.
Use the product or SKU label first, then compare only regions where that exact item is available.
Keep local and converted prices together
The local storefront amount is the source value. A converted amount is a convenience layer that lets you sort and scan regions. Keep both visible so a surprising result can be checked against the original currency.
- Confirm the currency code, not just the currency symbol.
- Treat exchange-rate conversion as an estimate.
- Check the App Store again before making a purchase decision.
Look beyond the cheapest row
The lowest converted price is useful for discovery, but availability, tax, payment methods and account eligibility determine whether that region is practical for a specific user.
A trustworthy price tool should show its data source, update cadence and conversion method. Price Atlas publishes this information in its methodology page and keeps each product in a separate tab.
